My husband has been stationed here for 3 years and I have been here 1 and a half. I love Ft Bragg!! There is so much to do on base it's crazy. There is hockey/ice skating, bowling, horse back riding, a sport bar/arcade, sky diving, an awesome youth center, and so much more. The housing is awesome, if you get into the new neighborhoods. We are in a brand new 3 bedroom with a large back yard, garage and everything so close. Our FRG is great and their is always something going on. Where else can you watch boxing matches while watching someone jump out of an airplane?? There is always a jump to go and watch. Granted Fayetteville is not the most scenic place on earth but if you know where to live, I recommend it for everyone. I am from Atlanta and the only thing I miss is the shopping. There is a decent mall, but nothing amazing. You are 2 hours from the oceans or the mountains, so you can go to the beach or snow boarding. The only way you can not like Ft Bragg is if you don't do anything but sit in your house and watch TV all day!
