Special note about AOL Caching issues - The AOL
Browser is a customized version of a widely available commercial browser,
that AOL has removed significant functionality from. Most importantly, AOL
attempts to save you time by showing you versions of web pages that it has
saved (cached) on it's servers. This causes problems with web sites like
Militaryshoppers' which are dynamic, i.e., each page is generated for you
specifically by Militaryshoppers servers. Therefore you may end up seeing
old or incorrect pages. If this happens and cannot be corrected by clearing
your cache you can still connect to the Internet using AOL and once connected
start an alternative browser such as IE 6.0 or Netscape 7.0 and access the
site with those browsers.
I am still getting old pages and I am certain that the site has been
updated, how do I clear my BROWSER CACHE?
Even though AOL's Proxy cache is updated every 24 hours, a member
can clear their Browser Cache and force the reload of a page. This is
done by either reducing their History to "0" and manually clearing
all pages in history or by holding down the SHIFT or the sometimes the
CONTROL key on their keyboard and mouse clicking on the AOL browser reload
icon. The latter will completely clear all items in history.
