Easy Sweet and Sour sauce |

1 cup sugar
1/2 cup white vinegar
1/2 cup water or fruit juice ( I use pineapple)
1/2 tsp. salt
Mix together in saucepan, simmer 5 mins.
Mix together 2 tsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp cold water
Add thickening to hot mixture and cook until thickened.
Add 1 tbsp ketchup.
Pour over chicken, meatballs or whatever you like. Bake accordingly. |
