Description:
This is one of my husband's favorites. I just came up with it out of desperation one night in a rush to fix supper.
Ingredients:
1 Sausage of your choice (Beef Smoked, Polska Kielbasa, etc)
Worcestershire sauce to taste
2 Cups cooked rice
Barbecue sauce to taste (about 1/4 cup)
1 can sweet corn (drained)
anything else you want to throw in such as chopped onions, etc. I never make it the same way twice!
Directions:
Cook sausage sprinkled with Worcestershire sauce about 5 min. in electric skillet or other large covered skillet. Cut sausage into bite size pieces and return to skillet. Cook 3 minutes more. Add 1 Tsp. butter and then add rice to skillet. Add Barbecue Sauce to taste, then stir well. Add corn and stir. Cover. Cook on medium heat just a few more minutes. Stir, and serve hot!
