SAUSAGE GRAVY

Recipe: 2 tablespoons butter 1/4 pound country sausage (bulk) 3 tablespoons all purpose flour 2 cups milk 1/2 teaspoon salt pepper, to taste In a medium size saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the sausage and cook until brown. Make sure you break the sausage up and stir it while it is browning. Sprinkle the flour over the sausage and cook for 1-2 minutes (stirring constantly) until flour is cooked. Pour in the milk, all at once, and continue stirring constantly until the mixture comes to a boil and it is thick. Add the salt and pepper. Makes 2 - 3 servings. The recipe can easily be doubled to make 4 - 6 servings.
