Recipe: Crust 1 cup flour 1/4 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup butter 1/2 cup chopped pecans Preheat oven to 350* Mix Flour and brown sugar. Cut the butter into the flour-sugar mixture. Mix in the chopped nuts. Press into a 11"x13"x2" oven proof baking dish. Bake 15 minutes. Remove from oven and take 1/3 of the cooked mixture to save for topping. Spread the remaining cooked crumb mixture into a buttered 10" pie pan and cool. Filling {You must make this with an electric mixer in the largest bowl. IT GROWS} 2 egg whites 1 (10 oz.) box frozen strawberries, slightly defrosted 1 cup white sugar 2 TBLS lemon juice 1 cup whipped cream Add the strawberries, sugar and lemon juice to the fluffy egg whites. Beat at high speed for 15 minutes. You can add a drop or two of red food coloring if you like. Fold in the whipped cream. Pile into the crumb pie shell, sprinkle reserved topping over pie and freeze over night. To serve: Remove form freezerand place in refigerator several hours before cutting into wedges to serve. Serves 10
