Recipe: Its almost pecan pie time. During late October into November, you will see a lot of pecans dropping. That means its Pecan Pie time ingredients light Karo corn syrup (1/2 to 3/4 cup) eggs (2) 1/2 cup sugar 1tsp vanilla extract. premium quality please 1/2 stick of butter 1 unbaked pie crust ( deep dish) PECAN (2 cups) (start looking for those pecan trees) ** I like to get fresh pecan. make it fun . I normally go for the bigger nuts. those nuts contain more oils which makes the pie taste better. crack open make sure you clean out the middle section. you need 2 cups worth so get to cracking. first preheat oven 350 degrees. next thaw your deep dish pie crust.. set aside. melt the butter in a separate pot. In a bowl mix eggs and sugar add in the melted butter. stir all those together next add in Karo syrup now add in your vanilla extract. now add in your nuts. its time to fill that pie shell with goodness. bake for 350 degree for 60 mins. let cool for 2 hours. then cut. enjoy!!!!
