COWBOY STEW
1 LB HAMBURGER MEAT OR CUBE BEEF (or more if you want a larger serving for more people)
1 LARGE POTATOE (DICED)---again depends on the # of people you want to serve.
1 MED ONION (DICED)
1 CAN WHOLE CORN (DRAINED)
1 CAN DARK RED KIDNEY BEANS (DRAINED)
1 CAN TOMATOE SAUCE
1 CAN ROTEL
1 LG TURNIP (diced)
CELERY (CUT INTO SMALL PIECES)
CHILI POWDER (ADD TO YOUR TASTE)
4 SERRANO PEPPERS (add more or less as per taste and tolerance, cut into small pieces)
ADD SALT/PEPPER/GARLIC PER TASTE
COOK MEAT OVERNIGHT IN CROCKPOT ON LOW SETTING
IN MORNING ADD ALL OF THE ABOVE. SET CROCK POT TO COOK.
CHECK AND STIR AND TASTE FOR GOODNESS
YOU CAN ALSO COOK IN A LARGE POT OVER THE STOVE.
SERVES 3-4 PEOPLE (DEPENDING ON THEIR APPETITES). |
