Graham Cracker Crum Bar

Recipe: 1 stick Unsalted Butter ¼ cup brown sugar ½ cup granulated sugar 2 eggs 1½ cups sifted flour ½ teaspoon baking powder ½ teaspoon salt ½ teaspoon soda ½ teaspoon cardamom ½ teaspoon nutmeg ½ teaspoon cinnamon ½ teaspoon allspice ½ teaspoon ground cloves 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs ¼ cup shredded coconut ½ cup raisins Directions: 1. Blend the butter brawn sugar, and granulated sugar. Stir in the eggs 2. Combine and add flour, baking powder, salt, soda and spices. Blend well. Mix in graham cracker crumbs, coconut and raisins. 3. Spread in a “9 inch square baking pan which has been rubbed with Crisco shortening. 4. Bake in a moderate oven 350 degrees. 30 to 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean, 5. Dust with confectioners’ sugar and cut into bars, 2 ½” x 1 ½ “. Makes 24 bars.
