Ingredients:
1 1/2 Cups self rising flour
5 Tablespoons Crisco shortening
1/2 Cups of milk
Extra flour for dusting surface
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425. Combine flour and shortening with pastry blender until crumbly. Add milk and combine until dough is just not sticky enough to handle and form into ball. If dough appears too dry add a bit more milk. If dough is too sticky add a bit more flour. Dust surface with flour and roll dough out to about 1/4 inch thick. Cut biscuits into whatever shape you want, I use a small mason jar to cut them into approximately 2 in. wide circle. Place on nonstick cookie sheet. Bake at 425 for 10 - 12 minutes or until tops are lightly brown.
To make more biscuits simply double each ingredient.
