1 16 oz. package 15 Beans with Seasoning Package
1 left over Ham Bone
1 small onion chopped
2 carrots diced
2 ribs celery diced
1 8 oz. can tomato paste
Soak beans over night in 3 cups water. Drain and fill crock pot with enough water to cover beans and ham bone.
Add onion, carrots and celery. Cook on high 3-4 hours or on low 4-5 hours. Remove ham bone and let cool. Add seasoning package. When ham bone has cooled chop up ham into bite size pieces. Add tomato paste and stir well.
Cook additional hour, stiring occasionaly.
Serve with hot corn sticks and a fruit or tossed salad.
Freezes well up to 3 months.
