1 large can tomato juice
1 large onion chopped
1 large green pepper chopped
1 lb red kidney beans already prepared
1 lb ground beef, venison, or turkey browned
And, 1 part cumin to two parts chili powder depending on your heat preferences. Start with 2 T cumin to 4 T chili powder.
I cook my beans on low in the crock pot over night, drain them in the morning, and then add all the other ingredients to cook all day on low. It is even better the next day warmed! |
