Recipe: 1 Whole chicken 10 Baby carrots 2 Bay Leaves 1 Small piece of Ginger 10 Cloves of Garlic 2 tablespoons of olive oil 1 large apple(fuji or granny smith) 1 tablespoon each of salt,pepper, herb seasoning, and celery salt. Preheat your over at 300 take the chicken out of the package wash and let rest for a few minutes. In a baking dish place the chicken breast side down(this keeps it moist. Rub olive oil on the entire chicken and sprinkle and even layer of the seasonings all over the outside.cut and place apple slices inside the chichen all the way to the neck. followed by the bay leaves, carrots,garlic, and ginger. Cover the chicken tight with foil and place in the oven for 130 to 200 hours. after 2 hours turn oven up to 375 uncover and let the skin crisp for about 10 min. Take out slice and enjoy.
