Recipe: Ingredients: 1 can chili beans or pinto beans 1 can red kidney beans 1 can stewed tomatoes (preferably Mexican or Italian style) 2 Tbsp. Chili powder/ chili spices (can purchase in store near prepackaged seasonings like those for tacos/dips/etc.) 1 Tbsp. cumin 1 1/2 Tsp. Salt 1 1/2 Tsp. Pepper 1 1/2 Tsp. Paprika or Cayenne pepper for extra spicy 1 1/2 to 2 lbs. Ground Beef (for healthier version use Ground Turkey) 1 Large Onion chopped finely 3 cloves of Garlic minced or crushed Instructions: *In a large pan or pot at medium to medium-high heat saute onion and garlic until soft. Add ground beef and cook until thoroughly brown. Add all other ingredients. Bring to a boil, then lower temperature to low to med-low and simmer covered for 45 min. to 1 hour. *Serve over white or brown rice with shredded cheese or minced onions for a simple easy meal. Also, makes the perfect side dish at a BBQ or topper for Chili Dogs...
