Green Beans with Lemon Sauce

Recipe: We use this sauce on other veggies and chicken and fish, but when I invented it, my husband willingly ate green beans for the first time in his life! Snap ends off fresh green beans and place in steamer basket in saucepan with 1/2" water in the bottom. Heat, covered, on high and start timer for 4 minutes when you hear the water boiling. After 4 minutes, remove beans to serving dish- do not let them sit in the pan or they will overcook and get mushy. Meanwhile, in microwave-safe bowl, put 2 T butter 1 t olive oil 1.5 t Lemon Pepper (McCormick's is my favorite) dash of dried basil And heat gently in microwave, 15 seconds at a time (to prevent butter from splattering). Once butter is completely melted, mix it thoroughly and pour the sauce over the steamed beans.
