Recipe: Meatloaf Recipe: Ingredients: ½ cup Quick Oats ; l lb. Ground beef ; 1 egg ; ½ Cup chopped onions ; 1 Teaspoon salt (I seasoned with Louisiana creole seasoning and garlic power) ; 3/4 Cup milk ; 1 Cup shredded cheddar cheese ; Topping: 2/3 Cup ketchup ; ½ Cup brown sugar ; 1 ½ teaspoon mustard ; I added 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg and cinnamon ; DIRECTIONS: In a bowl combine the egg and milk. Beat lightly. Stir in cheese, oats, onion and salt. Add beef and mix well. Place in lightly greased loaf pan. Combine ketchup, brown sugar, mustard, nutmeg and cinnamon. Spoon over top of meatloaf. Bake uncovered at 350 for 1 hour or until no longer pink, and a meat thermometer reads 160 degrees.
