Recipe: 3 Cups Grape-Nuts Cereal 1 Cup Soy Beans (Roasted & Salted) 1 Cup Craisins 1 Cup Coconut (Sweetened & Flaked) 1 Cup Sugar (or Dry Sugar Substitute) 1 Cup Karo Syrup (Light or Dark) 3/4 Cup Peanut Butter (Low Fat) Mix dry ingredients in large bowl. Lay saran wrap layers length and width ways across an 9 x 13 baking dish, allow saran wrap to be loose in the pan and hanging over the egdes as this will be keeping your power bar mixture from sticking to the stides of your pan. Set pan aside. Mix sugar, karo syrup & peanut butter in sauce pan on stove over low heat. Heat until warmed thoroughly, do not allow to boil, stir during entire time heat is applied! Pour liquid over the dry mixture. Stir to coat all pieces. (STURDY butter knife or mixing spoon best.) When mixture is thouroughly mixed, pour over your saran wrap pan and press down to evenly disperse within the pan. Using bladed end of spatula cut bars to desired size. Allow mixture to cool at room temperature for at least 1 hour then turn over and finish slicing bars with knife. Package in ziplock bags.
