Butter Pecan Cookies Name: Jennifer Miller Base: Maxwell AFB Recipe: Ingredients 1 cup butter 1 eggs, beaten 2 teaspoons baking powder 1 cup pecans, finely chopped 3/4 cup sugar 2 1/2 cups flour 1 teaspoon vanilla 1/2 teaspoon salt Directions Cream butter and sugar. Add egg. Add flour, salt, baking powder and pecans. Mix in vanilla. Chill dough 1 hour. Roll out 1/8 inch thick and cut with any size cutter. Bake at 400 for 8 minutes or until nice and light brown.
