I use this recipe with a crockpot so it falls apart with a fork without standing over the oven all day. This is a huge hit with my family.
1/2 tsp. of Thyme
1 tsp. of Oregano
1 tsp. of Basil
1 tbsp of soy
1 tbsp of cooking Oil
1 tbsp of ketchup
1 tbsp of minced garlic
1 tbsp of minced onion (or you can slice up a small onion)
1 can of cream of mushroom soup
1 bag of baby carrots (optional)
Your choice/size of beef (I have used several cuts of beef and still come out with the same great tasting meal)
I just toss all the ingredients into the crock pot, add meat and carrots, and set on high for one 1/2 hour. After that I place the setting down on low and let it simmer for the entire day. By dinnertime this falls apart. Just add mashed potatoes and a vegetable, and you have an instant meal. I have also used this marinade for steak and it is absolutely wonderful.
