Ingredients
•3 boxes frozen French cut green beans
•1 large onion, chopped
•1 1/2 sticks margarine
•2 tbsp flour
•2/3 tsp salt
•1 can sliced water chestnuts, drained
•1 1/2 tsp soy sauce
•5 oz grated cheddar cheese
•1 tsp crushed red pepper
•1 small jar sliced mushrooms, drained
•1 tsp Tabasco
•1 1/3 cup half and half Buttery crackers
Cook green beans as directed on package. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Saute onion in 1 stick margarine. Add flour and mix until smooth. Mix all ingredients, except cracker crumbs, and place in a casserole dish. Sprinkle a little extra cheese and top with cracker crumbs, mixed with remaining melted margarine. Bake 30 minutes until hot.
