Recipe: Ingredients: 1.5 pound ground turkey 2 cups chopped onion (2 large) 1 cup chopped green pepper 4 cloves garlic, minced 1 15-16 ounce can of kidney beans (rinsed and drained) 1 15-16 ounce can Black beans (rinsed and drained) 1 15-16 ounce can pinto beans (rinsed and drained) 2 14.5 ounce cans diced tomatoes, undrained 1 15-ounce can tomato sauce 1 cup water 2 tablespoons chili powder 1 teaspoon dried basil 1/2 teaspoon black pepper Shredded cheese (optional) 1) In a large pot cook turkey, onion sweet pepper, and garlic until meat is brown and onion is tender; drain any excess juices. Stir in kidney beans, black beans, pinto beans undrained tomatoes, tomato suace, water, chili powder, basil and black pepper. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer, covered, for about 20-30 min. stirring occasionally. Serve and top with cheese. Makes about 8-10 main-dish servings
