Cookies n Scream Name: Brandi Thomas Base: Shaw AFB Recipe: INGREDIENTS: 1 pkg. (12.6 oz.) JELL-O No Bake OREO Dessert 1/3 cup butter or margarine, melted 1-1/3 cups cold milk Few drops each red and yellow food coloring Suggested decorations: candy corn and crushed OREO cookies Prep Time: 15 min plus freezing time Start to Finish: 15 min. DIRECTIONS: Stir Crust Mix and butter with fork until crumbs are evenly moistened. Spoon into 12 paper-lined muffin cups; press onto bottom of each cup. Pour milk into deep narrow-bottomed bowl. Add Filling Mix. Beat with mixer on low speed 30 sec. Add food colorings; beat on high speed 3 min. or until light and fluffy, and evenly colored. (Do not underbeat.) Reserve 1/2 cup Crushed Cookies. Stir remaining crushed cookies into filling. Spoon over filling; sprinkle with reserved 1/2 cup crushed cookies. Freeze 2 hours or until firm. Decorate as desired. Family Fun Let each child decorate their own dessert cup. Note Store any leftover desserts in freezer up to two weeks. 12 servings
