Apple Dumplings
1 can of Pillsbury Cresecent Rolls
2 cooking apples - peeled, seeded and quartered
1 c. sugar
1 c. water
1 stick of butter
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray or grease a 9 x 13 baking dish.
Separate cresent rolls and flatten with hand. Enclose one quarter of the apple in one of the crescent rolls. Repeat until all apples and crescent rolls are used. There should be eight dumplings when you are finished. Place all dumplings in the baking dish.
In a saucepan heat butter, sugar, and water until the mixture boils. Boil one minute. Pour over dumplings and bake uncovered for about 25 minutes or until crust is brown. |
