Ingredients: Cake mix flavor of choice
Baking chips flavor of choice (6 0z; 1 cup)
1/3 c water
4 T (1/2 stick)butter, melted
1 large egg
1/2 cup chopped nuts, optional
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease cookie sheets with solid veg. shortening. Add all ingredients except for chips and nuts. Blend well. The batter will be thick. Fold in the chips and nuts until spread throughout. Drop by heaping teaspoons onto a baking sheet. Bake until set but still a little soft in the center. Approx. 10-12 minutes. Remove and let rest for one minute then transfer to racks to cool.
My personal favorite combination is devils food with white chocolate chips. Enjoy! |
