Cheesy Cabbage and Carrots

Recipe: I make my own cheese sauce but you can just as easily use cheez wiz or melt velveeta over top. 1/2 head of cabbage cut into wedges 1 cup sliced carrots or baby carrots 1 tbl butter 1 tbl flour milk shredded cheddar cheese Dijon mustard salt and pepper Worcestershire sauce Crackers - about a handful ritz is good Heat oven to 350. In a microwave safe bowl put the carrots and some water. Cover and microwave until carrots are almost soft. Add the cabbage and a little water. Cover and cook until cabbage and carrots are soft. In a casserole dish dump the carrots and cabbage in and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Pour over the cheese sauce, crush up the crackers and bake until everything is cooked and the crackers are golden. ~~Cheese Sauce~~In a small saucepan melt the butter. Whisk in the flour and cook for a minute or so. Whisk in milk about a cup or so until you have the amount you want.Bring to a simmer and when it starts thickening up dump in about 1 1/2 cups cheese, a little salt and pepper, a squeeze of mustard and a dash or Worcestershire sauce.
