1 large box of mini candy canes
1 block of chocolate bark
wax paper
sprinkles-red & green (optional)
Melt chocolate bark according to instructions. Unwrap mini candy canes while waiting for chocolate to melt. When chocolate has melted, dip candy canes in chocolate covering the top portion where the round top is. Place on wax paper. Sprinkle with sprinkles if you like and dry about 1 hour.
When dry you can bag to use for gifts. I use freezer bags that have the tie up tops and tie with a pretty ribbon.
This is a favorite of my family's. The peppermint makes it not so sweet and my daughter loves the sprinkles. Makes a very inexpensive gift for teachers and friends.
You can also had to a coffee lovers or hot chocolate lovers basket. |
