Recipe: ingredients * For the sauce * 2 tablespoons margarine * 1 cup brown sugar * 1 3/4 cups boiling water For the dumplings * 1 tablespoon margarine * 1/2 cup white sugar * 1/2 cup milk * 1 cup flour * 1 teaspoon baking powder * 1 teaspoon vanilla * 1 pinch salt Directions 1. 1 For the sauce, melt the margarine in a casserole dish on top of the stove. 2. 2 Add brown sugar and boiling water. 3. 3 Bring to a boil. 4. 4 Remove from heat. 5. 5 Mix all of the dumpling ingredients together. 6. 6 Drop by spoonfuls into the sauce. 7. 7 Bake, uncovered, at 375 degrees for 30 minutes
