Recipe: |
1 1/2 to 2 lb of cube steak
2 cans of Golden mushroom soup
1 can water
3/4 cup flour
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 oil
Add salt and pepper to flour, then flour cube steaks. Brown on both sides in oil. Meanwhile in a 9 X 13 baking dish, mix both cans of soup and can of water. Should be the consitancy of gravy. Transfer the browned steak to the dish, turning until coated with gravy. Cover dish with tinfoil. Place dish in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.
Serve with steamed rice or egg noodles.
