Recipe: 2 cups of flour 1 TBS garlic powder 1 TBS Salt 1 TBS Paprika 1 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper 1 1/2 tsp. sugar 4 large eggs Vegetable oil for frying Dill pickle chips or bread-and butter pickle chips. In a bowl whisk together flour, garlic powder, salt, paprika, cayenne and sugar. In another bowl, beat the eggs. Fill a large pot with about 1 inch of vegetable oil. Heat to 350 degrees on deep fat thermometer. Toss the pickles in flour mixture, shake excess flour off, toss into egg mixture, coat well, put back into flour mixture again. Shake off excess flour, add to hot oil. Fry, turning pickles when they rise to the top of the oil. 5 to 7 minutes. Using a slotted spoon , transfer on paper towels to drain. Sprinkle with salt and pepper if you want.
