1lb chicken breast
sub rolls
salt and pepper
cheese (mozzerella is the best)
1 med onion chopped
olive oil
freeze the chicken breast until frozen through. This is the hard part. Using a really sharp knife cut the chicken into really thin slices, almost like shavings. Heat some olive oil in a pan and add the chicken and onions. It cooks really fast so have all the cheese and buns ready. When the chicken is cooked through (you can break up the chicken into smaller pieces to your liking- a real chicken cheese steak is real small pieces of chicken)put the chicken onion mixture in the buns and top with cheese. You can make all sorts of variations and toppings, buffalo chicken cheese steak, chicken bacon ranch, swiss cheese and ham it goes on and on!! |
