Ingredients:
1 German Chocolate Cake Mix
¾ c. melted margarine
2/3 c. evaporated milk
1 pkg. caramels
6 oz. chocolate chips
Combine cake mix, margarine and 1/3 c. evaporated milk. Press ½ of the mixture into the bottom of a greased and floured 13 x 9” pan. Bake @ 350 degrees for 6 minutes. Pour chocolate chips over baked cake. Combine caramels and 1/3 c. evaporated milk in double boiler (or pan or microwave on very low heat/temp!!), melt and pour over chips. Cover with remaining batter patting it down and covering as much of the cake as you can. Bake @ 350 degrees for 15 – 18 minutes.
