Easy Broccoli Cheese Soup

Recipe: 1 1/2c frozen broccoli (I use the broccoli cuts) 1 c velveeta cut in cubes 1 c chicken broth dash of hot sauce 1 c ground sausage 1/2 c water salt and pepper Brown the sausage and remove from the pan but leave the drippings. Add the broccoli and cook for a few minutes. Add the hot sauce, salt, pepper, water and chicken broth and boil for about 10 minutes until the broccoli is soft. I use a stick blender right in the pan and puree until smooth. If you don't have a stick blender you can puree in a blender or food processor and then add back to the pan. Stir in the cheese and cook until melted. Stir in the sausage and heat through. You can add more cheese to make a dip or a little milk to make a thinner soup.
