EASY CHICKEN & DUMPLINGS
A quick way to use leftover chicken or turkey.
* 3 cups cooked chicken or turkey, chopped
* 4 cups water
* 2 cans cream of chicken soup (low sodium preferred)
* 1 cube chicken bouillon
* 1/4 cup each celery, onion, carrot shavings (if desired)
* 1 tsp Mrs. Dash or seasoned pepper
* 1 can refrigerated butter biscuits
* salt and pepper, to taste
Bring all ingredients (except biscuits) to a boil in a large pot over med-high heat, stirring frequently.
Separate bisquits and cut into 1/8 pieces. Drop pieces individually, into boiling pot, while stirring gently. Cover, reduce heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes. Add salt and pepper, if desired. |
