Biscuits and Gravy
1 lb. of bulk pork sausage
1/4 cup of all purpose flour
2 cups of milk
Salt, Pepper and Sage to taste.
8 prepared biscuits
Make biscuits according to package directions, set aside.
Crumble and cook bulk sausage over medium heat until browned. Stir in flour until dissolved. Gradually add milk stirring constantly. Cook gravy until its thick and bubbly. Season with salt, pepper and ground sage. Simmer this gravy for a few minutes so you wont taste the flour.
Serve this over halved biscuits. Enjoy! |
