INGREDIENTS:
1 lb Velveeta Cheese ;
2 (8oz) Cream Cheese ;
2 Cups Shredded Sharp Cheese ;
1/2 TSP Garlic Powder ;
2 T Lemon Juice ;
4 T Worchestshire sauce ;
1/2 Cup Pecans ;
Chili Powder or Paprika

DIRECTIONS:
** I use Wax paper when making these, its just a lot easier and not so messy, I find. **
Set out the cheeses to allow them to get to room temperature, to make it easier to mix together. Real Simply-just start adding things one at a time until everything is very well mixed together. Except the Pecans and Chili/Paprika. This recipe makes either two cheese logs or two cheese balls. After forming the cheese into the ball/logs then roll into your preference of chili powder or paprika (Just enough to "DUST") just for a coloring/decoration. Then the last step is to roll the ball/log into the pecans.
*****NOTE*****
Some people put the pecan inside the cheese ball, I do not as you never know who has an allergy to nuts. I normally roll the ball/log in the pecans as the last step, and sometimes make one without nuts. |
