2 cans drained and rinsed black beans
1 can drained and rinsed kidney or garbanzo beans
1/4 cup pickled jalapeno slices (in jar)
2 cloves garlic peeled
olive oil (about 1/2 cup)
salt
pepper
put beans, jalapenos, garlic and a pinch of salt and pepper in a blender or food processor. pulse for a few seconds then stop and add oil a few tablespoons at a time until it is smooth and blended together. You can add a tablespoon of water or of the juice from the jalapenos if it seems kind of dry in the beginning. |
