Chicken and Dumplings

Recipe: Take either a whole chicken or 3 chicken breasts and boil them in hot water (chicken broth if you like). Dice, cube or shred chicken and place the chicken back in the broth. Add 1 can of cream of chicken (2 if you prefer or if you think it is not thick enough) Then take bisquick and mix with milk to make your dumplings. The mixture needs to not be runny. There is no measurment for this, seeing as though you can make as many or as few dumplings as you prefer. Take spoonfuls of the dumplings and dump them in the pot. Let them cook until they are done enough to your liking. I prefer mine a little doughy, so I don't cook mine as long. You can add any veggies you prefer to this. Makes a great Winter meal or comfort food for when you are sick or down. My 5 year old son LOVES dumplings.
