Ingredients:
1 lbs hamburger meat
2 cups of cooked rice
2 eggs
salt
pepper
tomato sauce
1 large cabbage
Mix unfrozen hamb meat with rice, eggs, salt, pepper.
In a large pot boil water (about half of pot) put whole cabbage in to boiling water for about 2 min, slowly take out cabbage and peel leafs (try not to break them).
The leafs have to be soft but not overcooked.
Prepare another pot with cabbage leafs on the bottom.
Put hamb meat mixture on the leaf and roll it so it will be closed from all sides, put one by one inside of the pot with cabbage leafs.
Cover it with water and cooked slowly until leafs are soft. Add tomato sauce (salt, pepper to taste)
I serve it with mash potatoes it's my favorite.
You can also do it other way cut cabbage, cooke it add hamb meat mixture and tomato sauce (that's the easy way, taste good but doesn't look the same) |
