Crock Pot Chicken~N~Rice (for working parents)

Recipe: 1 chicken 1 can chicken broth 1 white onion 1/2 bell pepper 3 cloves garlic 2 cups uncooked rice salt, pepper, garlic powder ,and lemon pepper seasoning to taste. Wash and season chicken. Refrigerate. In large bowl, chop onion, pepper, and garlic, placing half in the bottom of the crock pot. Add chicken to crock pot. Pour in broth then add remaining onion mixture. Cover and cook on high for 2 hours or until chicken is done. NOTE: I do this just before bed or in the morning just before leaving for work and check it @ lunch time.) 30 min. before serving, add rice and cover on high until rice is done or move to a pot on the stove top and bring to a boil then add rice, reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 min.
