This is an original recipe of the Gilgenast family. Very easy and delicious.
2 cups flour
0,5 cup butter
2 eggs
2 teaspoons baking powder
0,5 cups sugar
3-4 cups sliced apples
Mix sugar and butter, add eggs and then flour mixture. Spread on sheet pan (11,5 by 17,5 inches with an edge all around). Place sliced apples on top of dough in an overlapping fashion. Sprinkle crumbs on the top of apples.
Crumbs,
0,5 stick butter
0,5 cup flour
0,5 cup sugar
Mix together with hands and spread over apples. Bake at 350 F for 45 minutes. Serve plain or with whipped cream.
