Recipe: This is so simple and very tasty. My 3 and 5 year old daughters love it. You will spend less then $10.00 for all the ingrediants. 1 lb. peeled cooked shrimp 1 jar minced garlic 1 pkg. (lipton) garlic rice butter to cook with ----------------------------------------------------------- Start the lipton garlic shrimp following the microwave directions from the back of the package. Do this 1st because the shrimp will cook fairly fast and you want it all done about the same time. Heat the 2 tablespoons butter over medieum heat in a skillet until melted. Add garlic about 3 heaping tablespoons ,Add shrimp enough to cover bottom of skillet. Cook until pink. Remove from skillet and add more shrimp . Do this until all the shrimp is cooked adding garlic and butter to skillet as needed. You will need to use a fork to remove the cooked shrimp each time it is done so as to leave most of the garlic in the skillet for the next batch of shrimp. The shrimp cooks through in about 2 minutes per side. When your rice is finished cooking layer it on the plate and add the cooked shrimp with garlic on the top. You are finished enjoy and watch the food dissappear. I serve mine with garlic bread or sticks and salad. Simple cheap and effective. Tastes like what you would pay a bundle for in a resteraunt.
