Flag Cheesecake

Recipe: 1 qt strawberries, divided 1 ½ cups boiling water 1 pkg 8 servings jello any red flavor 1 cup cold water plus ice cubes 1 1/3 cups blueberries, divided 1 pkg (12oz) pound cake, cut into 10 slices 2 pkg 8 oz each cream cheese softened ¼ cup sugar 1 tub 8oz cool whip thawed Slice 1 cup strawberries. Halve remaining 3 cups of strawberries. Stir boiling water into gelatin for at least 2 minutes until completely dissolved. Add enough ice cubes to water to measure 2 cups add to gelatin; stir until ice is melted. Refrigerate 5 min or until slightly thickened. Line 13x9” dish with cake slices. Stir sliced strawberries and 1 cup blueberries into thickened gelatin spoon over cake slices. Refrigerate 4 hours until firm. Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth; stir in whipped topping. Spread mixture over gelatin. Arrange berries to create your flag. I love making this on the 4th of july easy and festive!
