Dirt Cake Name: Holly Hanks Base: Fort Bragg Recipe: 1 Pkg Oreo cookies (crushed) 1 Pkg LARGE vanilla instant pudding 3 1/2 Cups milk 1 Stick margarine (softened) 8 oz. Cream cheese (softened) 1 Cup powdered sugar 1 Tub Small tub Cool Whip ***Gummy worms for garnish (optional) ***Plastic sand pail to serve in (optional) Mix together the vanilla instant pudding with the milk; set aside. In a separate bowl, mix together margarine, cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Combine the pudding mixture with the cream cheese mixture until smooth. Fold in the Cool Whip until well-combined. In your serving dish, place a layer of the crushed Oreos on the bottom. Top with a layer of the pudding mix. Continue alternating between the Oreos and pudding mix until both mixtures are completely used up (ending with a layer of the Oreos on top). Stick gummy worms randomly in the top of the dessert if desired.
