Recipe: |
2 lbs. ground beef
1/2 c. bacon bits
1/2 c. shredded colby & monteray jack cheese
1 t. - 2 t. garlic powder
1 t. - 2 t. onion powder
1/2 t. - 1 t. worstchestershire sauce
1/4 t. - 1/2 t. liquid smoke, hickory
Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl, if possible use the bread kneading attachment to mix, or use the beater attachment by hand.
Form into patties, 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch thick.
Use opposite end of beater to poke 5 holes into the patty (1 center, 4 corners)
Cook on medium-low until the side of the burger is 3/4 brown, flip burgers. These usually turn out medium to medium well, depending on the thickness.
1 tube Grands biscuits, homestyle or southern
for the buns.
