2 1/2 cup flour
1/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon Baking powder
1 teaspoon Kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon Cream of tarter
6 tablespoon Unsalted butter, cold, cubed
1 cup sharp cheddar , shredded
1 cup buttermilk
1 egg beaten
Preheat oven to 450. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or coat lightly with non stick spray whisk dry ingredients together. Cut in butter with pastry blender until the size of peas. Stir in cheese
combine buttermilk and egg, then stir into flour mixture just until incorporated. Portion batter with ice cream scoop onto prepared baking sheet. Bake 15 min. |
