Broccoli Slaw

Recipe: 2 - 3oz. pkg ramen noodles, broken 5 - cups broccoli florets 1 - cup chopped celery 1 - med. onion, chopped 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup salad oil 1/2 cup cider vinegar 1/4 cup slivered almonds,toasted 1/4 cup sunflower nuts Remove seasoning packets from noodle pkgs. Discard or save for later use. In large bowl, combine uncooked ramen noodles, broccoli, celery, & onion. In small bowl, whisk or stir together sugar, oil,& vinegar until sugar is dissolved. Pour over broccoli mixture. Cover & refrigerate the salad for 12 to 24 hours, stirring occasionally. Before serving, stir in toasted almonds & sunflower nuts. Makes 10 side-dish servings.
