Cheese Danish Squares
Ingredients:
2 pkgs. crescent rolls
2 pkgs. (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 egg yolk (save the egg white)
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 cup sugar
Directions:
Mix all ingredients except the rolls.
Line pan with 1 pkgs. Of rolls laid out flat.
Add the mixture, spreading evenly over rolls.
Cover with the remaining pkg. of rolls
Mix egg white and cover top of the rolls by brushing on with a pastry brush
Bake at 350 degrees F. for 30 mins.
Refrigerate for at least 2 hrs. (can eat warm if desired)
Cut into squares
Serve with sprinkled powdered sugar if desired.
