6 STRIPS CRISPY BACON CRUMBLED
3CUPS CUBED PEELED POTATOES
1 CAN CHICKEN BROTH (14 1/2 OUNCES)
1 SM CARROT, GRATED
1/2 CUP CHOPPED ONION
1 TBS DRIED PARSLEY FLAKES
1/2 TSP EACH CELERY SEED, AND SALT AND PEPPER
3 TBS FLOUR
3 CUPS OF MILK
8 OUNCES VELVETTA CHEESE CUBED
IN LARGE SAUCEPAN COMBINE THE FIRST 7 INGREDENTS, COVER AND SIMMER UNTIL POTATOES ARE TENDER, COMBINE MILK AND FLOUR UNTIL SMOOTH. ADD TO SOUP. BRING TO A BOIL:BOIL AND STIR FOR 2 MINUTES. ADD CHEESE; STIR UNTIL CHEESE IS MELTED AND SOUP IS HEATED THROUGH. GARNISH WITH GREEN ONIONS IF DESIRED.
