Toll House (chocolate chip cookie) PIE |

Ingredients-
Crust- 1c. flour
1/3c. and 1T. shortening
1T. water (might need a tad more)
mix, form ball, press into pie pan-or use premade store bought crust.
Filling-
2 eggs
1/2c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. butter (seems to be better using shortening and butter)
1c. or about 1/2 bag chocolate chips (the baking kind)
plus one handful chocolate chips (optional)
1/2c. flour
1/2c. brown sugar
mis all together except for the optional one handful of chocolate chips. poor into pie shell. bake in oven for 45-60 minutes at 325 degrees. when pie is almost done sprinkle optional handful of chocolate chips on top of pie. or you can vary this recipe and sprinkle peanut butter chips on top! |
