Recipe: Mincemeat Cup Cakes ************************************************************1/4-cup shortening, 1/2-cup brown sugar, 1/2-tsp. salt, 2-eggs, 3/4-cup moist mincemeat, 1-3/4 cups all purpose flour, 2-tsp. baking powder, 1-tsp. cinnamon, 1/2-tsp. cloves, 1/2-cup milk, 1/4-cup chopped nuts, ************************************************************Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Blend shortening, sugar, salt and eggs. Beat well. Add mincemeat. Mix the dry ingredients, and add alternately with the milk. Stir in the nuts. Line muffin tins with cupcake liners. Spoon each liner half full. Bake 20 to 25 minutes. When cool top with favorite Frosting. Makes 2 dozen cupcakes.
